went to the national day parade (for the first time) with janie and viv... feeling patriotic? hmmf oddly no... to begin with... behaviour of sporeans at the stadium... some were really inconsiderate and selfish... i dun think i wanna parade the embarassing moments online... just imagine the scenarios: giving out free goodie bags, getting a seat at the stadium..leaving and arriving at the stadium 20 mins before the parade starts... use ur wildest imagination...
anyway.. parade started.. 3 of us, went munching away, and electronically fanning ourselves... I would say, we took the outing at the parade as a picnic more than watching a parade.. hahahaha... so.. munch away we did... and watch the splendid arrangment Glen Goei did... lotsa special effects and fireworks display... lots of taxpayer money spent too... *ahem ahem* the singapore songs were singing, everyone dressed up in "uniform' red and white.. it feels like a national day in a primary school... i was in black and navy... cos i dun have any red, and white makes my boobies look big :p the fireworks display was beautiful... was short lived though... but.. better than nuthin.. then again.. i regret to say, i have seen better...
I cannot deny that we did see some awesome sunset skies (as you can tell from our photos). Last but not least, i thought it was the icing for the evening.. the moon lit sky, outside the stadium.. it showed serenity and stillness... Unfortunately i wasnt able to catch the beauty of the moon on my digicamera... but the idea is there.. it felt like a werewolf somewhere out there is just waiting to prance on YOU!!!
