EDnergized!!!!

happie happie... 3 happie ballet things for today.. to begin with, i got a La Fille Mal Gardee DVD performed by the Royal Ballet's Marianela Nunez and Carlo Acosta from Dave today!!!! :) woohoo!!!
then... the next best thing, i managed to get a ticket for the Royal Ballet's Mixed Bill Rehearsal. It was PHENOMENAL!!!! It has 2 of my favourite choreographers, Wayne McGregor and Christopher Wheeldon, presenting new work for the Royal Ballet, Chroma and DGV respectively. Balachine's Four Temperaments, was sandwiched between these 2 sensational new works; making the Four Temperaments looked dated and battered.. awww... McGregor and Wheeldon's creation are truly world class... definitely made a mark in history! Apart from watching my favourite choreographers, my favourite dancer was in all 3 pieces for the mixed bill!!! hahahaha yes yes, Triple Dose of Ed! the best thing is, ed is probably born to dance neo-classical/modern works. he seemed so comfortable and electrifying in all the pieces... (but when it's classical work.. ahem ahem...sigh...) anyway... i shan't complain, 3 works of fantastic dancing from the other dancers too... AHHH if only, i have a photographic memory to remember the 3 works, and revisit the dancing whenever and wherever... this is the advertising poster of this 5-days only production (I wish, every show is a sell out, for it truly deserve to be) and i spotted a bigger version of this poster at Tottenham Court Road Tube station (central line linkage to northern line). I stood in the walkway, dumbfounded for a minute... it had this invinsible energy and allure... out of 5 shows (+1 rehearsal), i only managed 3 shows... (i acutally bought tickets for all 5 shows, but, had to sell my other tickets, have to go back to singapore to work hmmmf) anyway...if you are reading this, and in london... get online or call the box office and get yourself a ticket, and let your mind be blown away!!!
ROYAL BALLET - CHROMA/FOUR TEMPERAMENTS/DGV
the next happie thing that happened... ahahhaha.. best ever... for my birthday next year, i am all sorted.. Stella (a new friend) sold me her ticket to watch the Royal Ballet in Class on my burpday!!! woohoo!!!! hopefully get to see all my favourite dancers in that class.. and i will be hopping around like a crazy happie bunnie *grinz grinz*
